One of the tools we previously covered here, Rkill, an excellent free specialty tool designed to deal with the removal of rogue software, has been download 11,000+ times through Tech Thoughts, since June 17, 2010. In fact, we’ve covered several of these tools in the last week or so. Or, in some cases, a specific class of malware. Lately it seems, we’re seeing more and more specialty malware removal tools, each one specially designed to eliminate a specific malware threat.
